Sound Equipment Hire

The Sound And Light Company excel in sound equipment hire, based on long term or event specific hire. Our engineers are highly trained and will set up all the equipment safely and to the latest industry regulations.

The brands that we use for sound equipment hire;Turbosound, BOSE, Martin, Function 1, JBL, QSC and many others.

We use turbosound as they have won many accolades in the sound business, here is the latest news on speakers from Turbosound;

Turbosound Ltd, the British-based manufacturer of live performance and installed-sound loudspeakers, reports the installation of its TFM-450 monitor loudspeakers in two new rehearsal rooms at Music Bank, London's leading rehearsal facility. The choice of TFM-450 floor monitors for the project reflects the product's growing popularity in the live sound market, with a total of eight systems being installed by UK specialist Crystal Pro Audio.

Music Bank's new facilities - the East and West rooms - offer over 3,500 square feet of spacious rehearsal areas, with the project also utilising two Turbosound THL-2 systems as side-fills. Part of a major expansion programme at Music Bank, the new rooms offer natural lighting and are joined by a new restaurant, together with four programming rooms.

Nunu Whiting, director and manager of Music Bank, commented: "After an extremely successful install with TMS-3's in our original studios it seemed logical to contact Turbosound again when it came to fitting out the new rehearsal studios and programming suites. Crystal Pro Audio and Bryan Grant (Britannia Row) both recommended the TFM-450 wedge and after a demo it was very obvious which way to go. The TFM-450 seems to be widely used on tours and is incredibly loud and very light. This is ideal since it makes changeovers much less painful and we believe it is to the musicians' advantage to work with the same high standard of products during rehearsals that they get when out on tour. The number of high-profile acts that have already used the new rooms supports our decision to equip our facility to the highest possible quality."

Macy Gray, Westlife and The Stereophonics have been among Music Bank's first customers for the new rehearsal rooms, which have been constructed by the facility's regular design-and-build specialist, Mick Fitzgerald of KFA, with Crystal Pro Audio responsible for equipment supply and installation.
